Learn about the game elements, in-game objects, mechanics, useful strategies and much more.
Each level contains a number of guards and turrets. Playing a particular level multiple times will help you decide when to use your inventory and where to turn next. Less time you take to complete a level, the more stars you earn. Let us help you improve your efficiency through this guide.
Game Elements
First let us get acquainted with the game-objects that are going to affect your game-play in one way or the other. From a simple bomb to a teleportation panel, find information on every relevant item in the game.
Android Form
This is your primary physical form. Use the navigation keys (W, A, S, D or arrow keys) to move around the map, search for objectives, complete your mission and evacuate.
Biomass Capsule
Capsules that contain the essential bio-matter to renovate human civilization. Primary objective of the Spark Campaign. Collect the required amount and make your way out to safety.

Bio-Pod
The bio-matter collected from the Spark Campaign is being used to re-create intelligent life. Primary objective of the Nemesis Campaign. Destroy these at all costs to prevent the rise of humanity.
Bomb
A potent proximity mine that explodes when an enemy guard gets too close. Instantly kills the guard. Available to you in all campaigns. You have a limited number of these, so use them wisely.
Bomb Pick-Up
Bomb points that can be collected by opening loot boxes. Adds 1 bomb to your inventory. Available to you only in the Mercenarium custom scenarios.
Canister
Canister containing something very important to your client. It is the object  representing collectible objectives in the Mercenarium custom scenarios. Collect them to complete your mission.
Cargo Box
Cargo Box containing something very important to the enemy. It is the object representing destructible objectives in the Mercenarium custom scenarios. Destroy them to complete your mission.
Computer
A laser switch connected to a laser. Has a radar that sends signals to the laser. A rotating radar means that the laser is active and running. Use this to turn off the laser and make your way out.
Destination
Evacuation point. Once your mission is accomplished move to this structure to conclude the chapter. An enhanced teleportation device that transports you back to your spaceship.
Laser
Powerful defense system. Most commonly used to block pathways leading to your objectives. Will kill you if you attempt to pass through. Use the associated computer to turn it off.
Laser Counter
A rotating laser counter that restricts straightforward navigation across rooms. There are no switches to turn this one off, so you will just have to go around it. Rotates at a speed of 60.
Loot Box
Every loot box contains either a bomb pick-up or a replica pick-up. There is a 50% chance for each one. Depends on your luck, I guess. Available only in the Mercenarium custom scenarios.
Marine
Enemy guard that patrols the corridors and rooms within the map. Can be terminated using a bomb or luring them in the path of a firing turret. Enemy guards are completely immune to lasers.
Phantom Replica
A spectral copy of your true form that acts as a check-point to return to if the mission goes south. Available in the Spark Campaign and Mercenarium custom scenarios.
Replica Pick-Up
Replica points that can be collected by opening loot boxes. Adds 1 phantom replica to your inventory. Available to you only in the Mercenarium custom scenarios.
SpaceShip
A destructible objective available only in the Mercenarium custom scenarios. Destroy these to complete your mission successfully. There are two variations. Variations don't affect game-play.
Spark Form
Invulnerable spectral form of the main character. Activates when you die. Must have a phantom replica placed somewhere in the map. You will get 30 seconds to return to your normal form.
Teleporter
Standing inside one of these will teleport you to a new inaccessible location in the map. Great way to move around. They don't always send you back to the same point.
Terminator
Enemy guard that patrols the corridors and rooms within the map. Has the same properties as a Marine, but moves faster and has a smaller detection box.
Time Capsule
Helpful item to buy you some time. Collecting one of these adds 30 seconds to the game timer in the Nemesis campaign levels. Can be found lying around or by destroying a bio-pod.
Turret
Defensive turret that fires bullets at a constant rate. Bullets travel at a random speed between 300 and 350. Getting hit by a bullet will instantly kill you. Enemy guards are not immune to bullets either.
Flamethrower
Defensive assets that fires deadly flames. Switches on every 4 seconds for a duration of 2 seconds. Interacting with flames will instantly kill you. Enemy guards are not immune to flames either.
Character Abilities
Your main character comes equipped with two primary abilities. The "Place Phantom Replica" is replaced by the "Activate Shield" ability in the Nemesis Campaign.
Place Phantom Replica
Activate to place a phantom replica at your current location. Phantom Replicas act as checkpoints and can even block bullets from turrets. Available to you in the Spark Campaign and Mercenarium custom scenarios.
Default Key: Q
Activate Shield
Activate to equip yourself with a rotating plasma shield for 5 seconds that protects you from bullets. Has a cooldown of 30 seconds. Available to you only in the Nemesis Campaign.
Default Key: Q
Plant Bomb
Activate to place a proximity mine at your current location. Mines/bombs are invisible to patrolling guards hence are effective in eliminating them. Available throughout the game.
Default Key: B

Strategy
Watch the two videos below to know more about the game-play and get a perspective on certain strategies that can be applied to enhance your play-style. The videos show the Level 2 of the Spark Campaign (Pristine Pursuit). Video 1 records the play-style of the player's 2nd attempt at the level whereas video 2 shows the 4th attempt. Later levels may require multiple attempts to successfully formulate and execute your desired strategy.

Gameplay Video 1
Video 1 (2nd attempt)
Pristine Pursuit is a very simple level with 9 rooms, consisting of only a handful of guards and no turrets. In my 2nd attempt I use both my bombs to kill the nearest patrolling guards which leaves me with 0 bombs. I fail to read the guard's movement and mess up my timing due to which I end up waiting for the guards to pass by. This results in a 4 star achievement.

Video 2 (4th attempt)
By the 4th attempt I have figured out the guard's movement and the location of the bio-matter. I preserve my bombs for later use. Look closely as to how I use my replicas. Remember that in Spark form you can move 30% faster and can even evacuate if your objective is complete. I use this to my advantage and end up with a 5 star achievement.
